PRESENTING…Mrs. Lawrence

My name is Brenda Lawrence. I teach 4th Grade at White Oak Intermediate. I graduated from Louisiana Tech University in Business and Louisiana State University in Education. I began my teaching career with Caddo Parish School District in Vivian, Louisiana. I moved to White Oak in 1991. I taught at Spring Hill Primary for three years before teaching at White Oak.  This will be my 21st year to teach here.

I have been married to Reed Lawrence for 37 years. I have two children; Matt and Lesley. Matt lives in Austin, Texas, and Lesley is an attorney  in Washington D.C. I have a granddaughter, Cleo, who is almost 1 year old.

Teaching is my career and my calling. I am blessed to work with children and families in my own community. Providing a strong academic foundation enables my students to become successful and productive adults.
