This week for Spelling, we will continue to work with root words and their affixes. Specifically we will be looking at words ending in “ed” or “ing.” The students will need to look at the root word and make note of the words in which the spelling does not change, the words with a silent e dropped before adding the suffix, and words in which the final consonants are doubled before adding “ed or ing.”
Remember to click on our Spelling City Link to practice your spelling on your computer, Smartphone, iPod, iPad, or Android Device.
